AFTER TRAVERSING TEXAS and New Mexico throughout my life, I chose to replicate the pace of my seeing much as the majority our mobile society experiences the landscape--framed by a window in speeding transport. As the markers of human endeavor came and went, I imagined lives continuing to evolve in these far-spaced rural towns and interstitial fields with oil below and wind above, cotton and cattle across to still them in 1/500 of a visual second.
